Several students of the Bicol University were rushed to the hospital after experiencing difficulty in breathing and passing out due to the colored smoke bombs used in a school event.
According to a “24 Oras” report, the colored smoke was used as props during a week-long event that included an olympics.
The school administration suspended classes until October 22 because of the incident.
It also ensured that it attended to the needs of those affected by the smoke.
In a social media post, the university said classes will resume on October 23.
